Inkido is designed to be a private tool for learning. We collect only what is necessary to make the app work for you. User data is stored in Supabase — see their privacy policy for details on how data is handled at the infrastructure level.
Data we store
- Account Information: Your email address is stored to manage your account and allow you to log in.
- Learner Profiles: Names of the profiles you create to track different learners.
- Word Lists: The characters and words you add to your spelling sets.
- Homework Scans: The summaries and extracted text from the worksheets you photograph. The original images are processed by AI and are not permanently stored on our servers after analysis.
- Practice Statistics: Records of your tone practice and AI usage to show you your progress and manage service limits.
Analytics & Tracking
- No Third-Party Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or any other third-party tracking services.
- No Cookies: We use local storage and session storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences (like your active profile or theme), but we do not use tracking cookies.
AI Processing
When you scan a worksheet, the image is sent to OpenRouter for analysis. This is required to extract the text and generate sample answers. OpenRouter’s privacy policy applies to this transient data processing.
Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Deletion: You can delete individual words, spelling sets, homework scans, or entire profiles at any time within the app.
- Account Deletion: If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at inkido.foyer772@passinbox.com.
